It took me a while to get it, but I now believe that if you are not anti-racist, then you are racist. As an engineer, it didn't seem logical at first. But the lack of progress over that past 400 years tells us that we have to ramp up our efforts. Perhaps Bob Dylan said it best, "How many times can a man turn his head, pretending he just doesn't see".
I was especially inspired by the protest art in the online gallery created by my daughter Ivy. All the art in the gallery was created by her Framingham public school art students, and yes, protest art was an assignment.

When my step-daughter Masha asked what I wanted for my birthday, I asked for a t-shirt made from the students' protest art. Ivy provided the original art and cropping services. Thanks, ladies.
And I am proud of my church for its support of the movement.
